Periods of Mourning

Periods of Mourning:

When someone important dies, the date from their passing to the day after funeral is a bank holiday. Think of it as a really long weekend.

However, if someones death is announced before school is dismissed or work ends, people are required to be present the rest of their school/work day.

For example, if Joe Bob died on March 1 at 9:00AM, and their death is announced at 11:00AM, then the people currently in attendance at school or present at work will stay normal scheduled until the day is over, and everything would be closed until the day after Mr. Bob's funeral.

Say Joe Bob died at 4:00PM though, and his death was announced at 6:00PM, then everything still open would close, however, school and work would stay closed until the day after the funeral.
